On May 17, 2023, the CEO of Zhonghuan International, Miao Zhizhuang, and his delegation were invited to visit Haka Group (referred to as Haka). The delegation included CTO Guo Yizhi, Zhao Bin, the General Manager of the Saudi-Zhonghuan Project, and other technical team members. Haka Group CEO Abdul and General Manager Mansour attended the reception and warmly welcomed the Zhonghuan's visit. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding collaboration on multiple projects.

Expanding Business and Advancing Rapidly

Firstly, Haka Group CEO Abdul introduced Saudi Arabia's various resource advantages and disposal needs. Then, CEO Miao provided a detailed explanation of Zhonghuan International's technological features and industries covered. They held professional discussions on mature disposal techniques already implemented and jointly studied solutions based on the business requirements. Through in-depth communication, the two parties reached cooperation intentions for multiple projects, including red mud disposal and comprehensive utilization, deep processing of aluminum by-products, phosphogypsum disposal and comprehensive utilization, and mining tailings disposal and resource extraction.

Zhonghuan's plasma hazardous waste disposal technology has been applied for the domestic treatment and utilization of secondary aluminum dross. Mr. Abdul expressed appreciation for Zhonghuan's breakthroughs and contributions in plasma technology. During the meeting, both parties clarified the follow-up tasks: finalizing process plans and feasibility reports, and initiating project collaboration for disposal of secondary aluminum dross. At the same time, they signed memorandums of understanding for other projects such as red mud, gradually advancing their implementation.

This cooperation between the two parties will effectively address numerous needs in the environmentally-friendly disposal of upstream and downstream production and processing of Saudi mineral resources, accelerating the achievement of mutual benefits and green development under China-Saudi production capacity cooperation.
