May 16, 2023 - CEO Miao Zhizhuang and experts from Zhonghuan International were invited to visit Rawabi Group Company(referred to as Rawabi Group) in Saudi Arabia. CTO Guo Yizhi and Saudi-Zhonghuan Project Manager Zhao Bin were also present. The General Manager of Rawabi Group, Mr. Ihab, and the Senior Project Manager, Mr. Masood, attended the reception and warmly welcomed the Zhonghuan team. A specialized meeting was held to discuss the progress of multiple projects.
In-depth Communication and Collaborative Progress
Since the visit of CEO Miao and the inspection team to Rawabi Group on December 7, 2022, both sides have completed project alignments and selections through multiple online and offline meetings, entering the stage of implementing the plans. During this meeting, the two parties conducted detailed discussions on cooperation in several projects such as seawater bromine production, chemical PTA wastewater bromine production, and Eurofilm.
CEO Miao expressed that Zhonghuan's technological advantage lies in its patented membrane treatment technology, which has been successfully applied to solve the challenges of PTA wastewater bromine production in Hengli Petrochemical, creating a new mode of bromine resource recycling in the PTA production process. Mr. Ihab mentioned that Rawabi possesses abundant resources in the field of oil and gas exploration and operation in Saudi Arabia. They hope to leverage Zhonghuan's professional technological advantages to collaboratively promote process iteration and technological upgrades in relevant industries in Saudi Arabia. Through technological exchanges and discussions, both parties have reached a consensus on the process path. The application of membrane technology enables the recovery and utilization of various substances consumed and volatilized during the refining and petrochemical production process, thereby achieving value-added efficiency. The submarine cable will be applied in advance to drilling platforms and wind power fields, with future expansion in the Middle East and North Africa regions. The bromine extracted from seawater and refining wastewater will be recycled through Zhonghuan's patented membrane technology, increasing the value of derivative products through resource utilization. Leveraging Strengths for Win-Win Collaboration The cooperated objects are all related to Saudi Arabia's oil and gas exploration and refining, which are the country's most important industrial sectors. Therefore, these projects will provide a broader development space for Zhonghuan in terms of investment scale, capacity requirements, and product applications.
