In December 2023, the Chairman of Zhonghuan International was invited to go to Saudi Arabia to sign the Multi-Technology Confidentiality Cooperation Agreement with the Saudi National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) to jointly invest in red mud, phosphogypsum, metals, waste chemicals, waste catalysts, waste oils and sludges, waste gases, and fly ash disposal and resourcing projects in Saudi Arabia.

                                                                      Resource sharing  and  deep cooperation

The National Industrial Development Center of Saudi Arabia is one of the earliest government departments that Zhonghuan International has cooperated with in Saudi Arabia. This department serves as a model for positive communication, mutual support, friendly treatment, and win-win cooperation between Zhonghuan and the center in recent years. With the healthy and stable development of China-Saudi Arabia relations, Zhonghuan has achieved fruitful results through practical cooperation with the Saudi government, deepening the friendship between both parties. By signing the confidentiality agreement, Zhonghuan is willing to build and develop diversified projects with the Saudi Arabian National Industrial Development Center based on this agreement. This will strengthen alignment of development strategies, deepen practical cooperation, and further enhance bilateral relations to achieve more substantial outcomes that benefit enterprises from both countries.

In recent years, a number of Arab countries have formulated relatively long-term development strategies, which coincide with the Belt and Road Initiative. The common desire of China and Arab countries to seek common development also provides more opportunities for future investment cooperation between China and Arab countries. In response to national policies, Zhonghuan International has arranged Saudi Arabia's red mud, phosphogypsum, metals, waste chemicals, waste catalysts, waste oil and sludge, waste gas and fly ash disposal and resource projects, further ploughed the whole industrial chain in the field of circular economy, promoted the implementation of more high-quality cooperation projects, and promoted China-Saudi Arabia cooperation to achieve more fruitful results.

Communication and willingness to cooperate

Zhonghuan signed a confidentiality agreement with the Saudi National Industrial Development Center, and reached a willingness to cooperate on the promotion, exchange and implementation of a number of projects, which is an affirmation of Zhonghuan's contribution to China-Saudi Arabia production capacity cooperation over the years. The director of the Saudi National Industrial Development Center said that it will give strong support to Zhonghuan, which will also become a strong backing for Zhonghuan to achieve rapid development of Saudi Arabia and help industrial upgrading. In the future, Zhonghuan will respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, actively participate in the construction of carbon reduction and green development and circular economy system in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region, help the green upgrading and transformation of Saudi Arabia and even the Arab region, and contribute to the construction of the world community with a shared future for mankind.
